PNAs are nurses in clinical practice who have completed an accredited training programme enabling them to provide restorative clinical supervision. The aim of the PNA is to improve staff wellbeing and resilience, support the provision of high-quality care and facilitate continuing professional development. The benefits demonstrated include reduction in staff burnout, increased retention and improved job satisfaction.​
