"Just wanted to say a big thank you on behalf of the network managers group, for all the work you put into helping make yesterday happen. I’m aware it’s a pretty thankless task and not fully appreciated exactly how much work it can be, unless you’ve run one yourself.  My half dozen Consultant colleagues who came, all specifically said they felt it was a really worthwhile day, one of the better they have been to in years and was certainly worth the +£100 train fairs and time away from the shop floor.  They really liked the multiple 10min presentations, which meant they were all more to the point and of the headline news, and that the bulk of the day was about the future trends and direction of travel and all-encompassing everyone"
