Midlands Major Trauma System - Seven Years On

Hear from your colleagues about the achievements and challenges over the past seven years since the inception of the Midlands Trauma Networks. 

Presentations include: the challenges of pre-hospital triage, the silver trauma project, trauma research in our region, network data and trends, learning from clinical incidents,  paediatric trauma, anticoagulants and trauma, and the management of rib fractures, spinal fractures and head injury in older patients.  Suitable for all staff who look after trauma patients including paramedics, nurses, doctors and therapists.

N.B. This study day is being funded by the Midlands Critical Care & Trauma Networks, enabling members of the network to attend this event free of charge, however to ensure the numbers of people who fail to attend is kept to a minimum we will be cross checking names against our FTA register from other events, should you be recorded you may be refused a place on this study day.  We are sure you can appreciate that this is public money and we should make every effort to ensure it is not wasted, therefore, we kindly ask that YOU make every effort to notify us if you are unable to attend in a timely manner.
